Pink Tea Rose
"Introduced by a French breeder in 1867, 'La France' was the first hybrid tea rose. It featured a silvery pink blossom with deep pink reverse. This new plant marked the era of the modern rose. Hundreds, maybe thousands of cultivars exist today.
Blossoms of hybrid tea roses have characteristic high-centered, tapered buds that gently unfold into double flowers of 20 to 50 petals. Colors include bold reds, purples, oranges, golds, pastels, or whites - every color but blue. Flowers form singly at the tips of long stems." - New Complete Guide to Gardening, Better Homes & Gardens
